চিত্রা দেব এর জন্ম ২৪ নভেম্বর, ১৯৪৩ -মৃত্যু ১ অক্টোবর, ২০১৭। তিনি হলেন বাঙালি সাহিত্যিক ও গবেষিকা। চিত্রা দেব বিহারের পূর্ণিয়াতে জন্মগ্রহন করেন। কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে তিনি বাংলায় এম.এ ও পিএইচডি ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন।
